Shaw has struggled with injuries for much of the season which have limited him to just 15 appearances in all competitions at club level. The latest muscle injury saw him miss the Red Devils' run in to the end of the Premier League campaign and coach Erik ten Hag has said he only has a very small chance of being available for the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Despite Shaw's struggles, England manager Gareth Southgate will name him as part of the 30-man squad for the summer tournament in France, the news agency reports. That squad will then be cut down to 26 players before June 7.

Shaw is not the only fitness concern for Southgate. Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane have also been struggling of late, while Jude Bellingham could be unavailable the pre-tournament friendlies due to his involvement in the Champions League final on June 1.

On Tuesday, Southgate will announce the players called up for the summer training camp before he decides who to cut from the team. His side will face Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland in friendlies before the competition on June 1 and June 7, respectively.
