The Argentine wonderkid made the move from Argentinos Juniors to Major League Soccer earlier this month and had to wait three games before making his debut for the club. As the Herons trailed 1-0 in the 26th minute, the 21-year-old put his elbow up to protect in an attempt to shield the ball away from Shaffelburg but went through the Nashville forward's jaw and was only shown a yellow card for his offence. The match eventually ended in a 2-2 draw, with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both scoring in the second half.
