Pulisic has been a standout player for Milan this season, scoring eight goals and bagging five assists already for the Rossoneri in 19 appearances in all competitions. More praise has now come Pulisic's way courtesy of former Milan director Ariedo Braida. The 78-year-old, who brought the likes of George Weah and Andriy Shevchenko to San Siro during his tenure at the club, has likened Pulisic to two former Milan players in particular.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Braida told reporters: "I must admit that he has surprised me. When he faces the opponent for a one-on-one, I see something of Pato, and when he flutters, he’s similar to Donadoni, but today’s football is different, so I won’t make comparisons.”
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR PULISIC
Milan will once again look to Pulisic for inspiration on Friday when they return to action in Serie A against second-placed Atalanta. The Rossoneri will be full of confidence after a thumping 6-1 win over Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia.
