After Tottenham took an early two-goal lead courtesy of Marc Cucurella's nightmare defending, Sancho pulled one back for the visitors in the first half. Enzo Maresca's side, however, responded strongly after the break as Palmer equalised from the penalty spot just past the hour mark before Enzo Fernandez put Chelsea in front for the first time in the game in the 73rd minute. The former Manchester City star then completed his brace in the 84th minute by converting a second spot-kick to seal a memorable comeback for the West London side.
