Tottenham Hotspur academy product Anthony Georgiou made his senior debut for Cyprus in their international friendly against Montenegro on Friday night.
Georgiou has been called into the Cyprus squad for the first time, and was thrust into the starting XI for what proved to be a goalless draw.
The 21-year-old came through the youth system at Spurs, and is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the London club.

That said, the Georgiou made his professional debut for Tottenham in their 3-0 win over Cypriot champions APOEL in the Champions League back in September.
Georgiou mainly operates as a left winger, but one Tottenham fan has claimed that the Cypriot should be given the chance to take Danny Rose’s place in the squad as a left-back.
Indeed, after making his international bow, a selection of the Spurs supporters, who have recently revealed their dream signings for the club, called on head coach Mauricio Pochettino to hand the 21-year-old some more first-team minutes between now and the end of the season.
